About the Dale Lynch Memorial Alumni Weekend:

• The weekend events are held in memory of the late Dale Lynch, who was a teacher at Walnut High School for 37 years.
• All proceeds from the event will be utilized to fund college scholarships for WHS graduates, and to fund athletic equipment and programs for Walnut Community School.
• The tournament participation fee is $15 per person.  Anyone who attended WHS, is a spouse or adult child of a graduate of WHS, is a teacher or former teacher at Walnut, or who currently lives in the Walnut school district may participate.  The basketball tournament will include both competitive and recreational divisions.

• The weekend events are open to the public.  Concessions will be sold continuously. 
• The planning committee includes Rick Blum, Darrin Tooley, Gwen Blum, Heather Gettler, Brent Hansen, Curtis Osborn, Kent and Carla Johnk, Stacey Sorenson and Judy Griffin.
